Dinner
For dinner I had roasted pork loins with Jack Daniel's Barbecue Sauce along with sauteed onions and garlic country-style potatoes along with a jalapeno cheese bread with a glass of Merlot to wash it down. Quite tasty. By the way I'm broke right now so I'm using up stuff already in the freezer or pantry until I get paid so I can pay bills and hopefully buy some groceries.
Breakfast
Today I had half a cup of oatmeal with a teaspoon of Nutella along with two pieces of toast...with Nutella. This isn't something that was really in Gordon Ramsay's book, but it did suggest oatmeal for breakfast. It was pretty cool though, because I noticed that the oatmeal kept me full half an hour past the time I usually go to lunch. I think this would be a great way to cut out some calories from my usual breakfast of a breakfast burrito or a huge 4 egg omelette. Now I just need to find a cardiovascular exercise I can do that doesn't require me to bend my toe.
On the other hand my lunch wasn't too great. I had a hotdog a at around 12, I'm already hungry again. I think Chef Ramsay's telling me something...

First Post
Hi, my name is Jay and I started this blog while reading Gordon Ramsay's Healthy Appetite. My health right now sucks. I've been nauseous with headaches and I have a disease known as gout. The disease while mostly dormant has close to unbearable pain when it wakes up. I've looked at countless websites and most agree that it's high purine foods that cause gout attacks. This includes just about every food out there. Well I have to eat...
Moving on, I don't want to write a blog about gout, but I got kind of inspired by the trailers and I guess the synopsis of the film Julie and Julia. What I plan to do is to utilize Gordon Ramsay's book, Gordon Ramsay's Heathy Appetite along with more exercise and blog about the health benefits that I'm experiencing. I'll evaluate the food on how healthy it is and log EVERYTHING I eat.
I love food and I want to be healthy. I know I need to make some changes. I just feel unhealthy overall and I want to make these changes.
